Atletico-MG 1-0 Coritiba: result and AI prediction

AI match recap

Atlético-MG enter with home form, a stronger recent league rhythm and a clear need to keep pace in the continental-qualification race. Coritiba are under pressure after a poor run, although the return of Bruno Melo should give their defensive line more familiarity. The major complication is Atlético's Sudamericana schedule, compounded by absences in goal, midfield and attack. Expect Atlético to set the tempo, with Coritiba's counterattacks and set-pieces deciding whether the match stays close.

Head-to-head analysis

This is not a one-sided recent fixture: Coritiba won the reverse league meeting and also won on Atlético's ground in their last visit. Atlético nevertheless hold several clean-sheet wins across the broader recent series, underlining how decisive the first goal has been.

Injuries and absences

Atlético are without suspended midfielder Alan Franco and have a substantial injury list, notably including goalkeeper Everson and creator Gustavo Scarpa. Pérez and Cuello returning gives Domínguez useful energy and pace, but cannot fully replace the missing defensive screening and established first-choice options.
